Our next confirmed performer for Friday the 13th at Razzett L-Ahmar are none other than Crux!
We sat down and had a chat with them.
What do we know about Crux? Crux was formed back in 2014 and quickly established itself as one of the most followed electronica bands in the Maltese music scene. Behind the mysterious dark veils shadowing the members, one finds familiar faces with a wealth of experience and talent. Rather than being a band, Crux is a musical collective brought together by a love for synthesized sounds. Crux’s music relies on the three-man formation that performs onstage as it does on the production team that brings the music to life back in the studio.
The end result is a seamless sound that all at once references the electronic vanguard of our time but it also evokes the spirit of those artists who pioneered the genre.
This is the second year working together and their live sets keep evolving, with brand new hardware to keep things exciting and interesting. During their set, the crowd should expect some mellow moods mixed with more impelling grooves and synthesized sounds. In fact, Friday the 13th is another excuse to party hard.
Crux have also recently launched their debut album Ego vs Ego which will be available for sale during Friday the 13th.
